My Family and Friends call me YOLLY. I was born in the year 1971 in Manila. I got 3 brothers and a beautiful sister (naku palakpak tenga ng sister ko nito), and i'm the eldest among them. I've been residing here in Germany since 1990, nag Au Pair Girl (see description below) ako for one year in a German Family. I am now happily married to Michael, whom I shared two adorable kids. Being in this stage of motherhood, it challenges and yet, fascinates my entire life. A reason for me to be proud of.

I'm friendly, funny, makulit, adik sa mIRC (Trivia and Chat Channel). I love to meet various kind of people, especially my kababayan (Pinoy/Pinay) all over the world. I do love to share advices to close friends who needs it. In short, i'm someone whom to count on when moments get rough.

What is an Au Pair?
A single male or female aged between 17 - 27 years, inclusive with no dependants, normally with basic English, who helps a host family with childcare and/or housework while staying as a guest with a host family and generally receiving a monthly allowance (or pocket money).

Au pair comes to live as part of the family, being treated as a family member. They have their own bedroom, eat with the family and take part in the occasional family outing or possibly holidays.

Becoming an au pair is a very exciting challenge, you experience and learn a different culture, another language, but you must be trustworthy, sociable, responsible, independence, fun, loving and willing to make new friends.

 
Hobbies

I absolutely love watching TV, dancing, reading books and magazines, singing (kahit sintunado pilit pa rin), sewing, Drawing and learning different languages. I do speak Tagalog, English, and German of course. Other than that, I could also say some words in Italian, French, Spanish and Japanese, which my friends and classmate taught me for few years.

I also keep myself busy by doing beautiful craft works. I'm having more marvelous time spending it for hours together with my kids. Despite its time consuming, they really like it. Well,
once you accomplished one, it's worth it anyway!

I also collect Postcards, yung mga send sa akin ng mga Friends/Relatives ko at yung mga nabili ko pag nagpunta ako sa place na yun as remembrance diba?. I also collect Telephone Cards lalo na ang design ay yung favorite Cartoons ko at mga cute animals.

Cooking? Yeah, I love it!! Infact, I have been collecting interesting recipies from various countries through helpful sources such as; local newspapers and magazines, TV shows, and internet links. Baking is not really my cup of coffee. But i'm still trying to do my best to be successful in this field, kaya nakikikain na lang muna ako sa biyenan ko, ready to eat na libre pa.

Lastly, I also indulged myself into gardening. On our cute backyard, I got fruits, vegetable and some special kind of herbs. Kaya lang pag nasa garden ako takot na husband ko, kasi he know na kalbuhin ko na naman yung mga puno sa garden.

Well, i'm very flexible. I almost listen to all sort of music, may it be R&B, Ballad, Disco, Reggae, or Rap music. However here are few lists of chosen artists and songs that I really love to hear:

Hello Kitty
I love this cat. I remember during my elementary years (grade 3 yata ako nun), my parents and I are often visiting our Bank (Banko Pilipino). As a Happy saver's club member, they giving out varieties of gifts. Hello Kitty stuffs were always been my first choice and I was always happy with it. Until now, I still treasure this wonderful childhood memory. I have Hello Kitty empty Telephone Cards and Bags.
 
Raggedy Ann
The story began as my Dad gave me a complete Raggedy Ann Album with its dresses and accessories. Unfortunately, it was stolen by a classmate of mine in school and never return it back to me (buwisit talaga yung kaklase ko na yun, sarap kalbuhin, LOL). That was really a sad thing. But thanks to the modern technique. I have been able to find some Raggedy Ann Images again through the power of internet. And that's after 20 long years! yuhuuu. Ang tagal kong naghintay lang hiya talaga oh!
 
Favorite Sport

Skiing.....brrrrr kahit na natatabunan ako ng snow pinipilit pa ring mag-skiing para makababa lang sa bundok :-)

Ice Skating.....sakit nyan sa puwet pag matumba ka, pero nakaka-enjoy yan, lalo na madami kayo....ng natutumba heheheehe.

Biking.....yup dito lang ako sa germany natutong mag-bike, pero nung matuto ako, every summer or pag maganda weather nagbi-bike ako, minsan kasama ko friends, relatives, kids and hubby sa nature park or sa forest.

I wish to be a Rallye driver or just a co-pilot someday. Well, together with my hubby, I was already been as his co-pilot in an Italian Rallye in Gradisca, near Yugoslavia. It was fun but it caused me terrible headache. Because during the whole tour, I was reading Italian streetmap and translating at the same time (di ba sasakit ulo mo sa kakauntog sa bubong ng car at sa window dahil sa road na baku-baku at di pantay, LOL). As we joined for the first time in 1996, we won a trophy, although i did not really understand what we won, basta narinig ko yung name namin, akyat ako sa stage para kunin yung Trophy, picture taking pa nga for remembrance and for the Newspaper daw, ewan ko nyahahahaha!!!. We drove Toyota Land Cruiser HDJ-80.....

.....and presently,we are driving Land Rover Defender.
 
Both Pictures from Toyota Land Cruiser and Land Rover Defender was taken during our Italian 4WD Rallye. Sa totoo lang I love to drive 4WD Cars, kaya minsan ko na lang drive cedeng ni German baka magasgasan lagot ako. Alam ninyo naman na mahilig ako sa malaki ;-)

My favorite online games in Shockwave.com are Bookworm, Scrabble, Wild Wild Word, Word Mojo, Wordsense Challenge, Word Up, Toss Words, and Qbeez. I play Literati and Word Racer in Yahoo Games. And also some different games in Myspace.com

I also enjoy playing sketch. It is a sort of a guessing game. To play this, one has to choose a room which has always 10 players on it. A certain player draws something and the other 9 must guess what it is. Of course, the higher the score , the greater chance of winning it.

These games are also interesting for me: Siedler (The Settler in English, not sure), War Craft, Age of Empires, Command and Conquer, Capital, Sim City, Theme Park and a whole lot more....
